Funding of our organization is gained from the support of the community and area businesses. The Respiratory Disease Society is an independent organization, receiving no funding from national or state organizations. We terminated our affiliation with these groups years ago in order to retain all funds for use within the communities we serve. Our society is a component of the United Way Organization. All funds are raised in community and remain in community. Fundraising events (such as WallyBall, CHEER, Christmas ornaments campaign, etc.) provide our income. We have helped thousands of families in the area and continue to dedicate our services to any person in need.
