Funding of our organization is from the support of the community and area businesses. The Respiratory Disease Society is an independent organization, receiving no funding from national and/or state organizations. We terminated our affiliation with national and state organizations years ago in order to retain all funds for use within the communities we serve. Our society is a component of the United Way Organization. All funds are raised in community and remain in community. A Christmas stamp campaign and various forms of fundraising activities provide our income. We continue to dedicate our services to any person in the area, and have helped thousands of families.
