2008 Cheerleading Competition - November 2 & 4

                The cheerleading competition is held annually to benefit the Respiratory Disease Society.  The funds of this event will be used to support to our Cribs for Kids program, SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) support program, Flu and Asthma prevention programs, and to assist our community with their respiratory needs.    

          The Cheer competition is held at the Altoona Area Field House.  We would like to thank the Altoona Area School District for the use of this facility for the competition.

Thanks to Tommy Edwards of Rocky for serving as Master of Ceremonies.  Thanks to all the volunteers who gave their time to make this event special.   

We would like to especially thank the cheerleading squads, advisors, parents, guardians, and schools involved in our annual competition.  Your endless hours of practice and years of support make this event a possibility
