22nd Annual Co-Ed Wallyball Tournament
April 22-25, 2010

RDS has joined up with Sheetz & Furrer Beverage to present this year’s Wallyball tournament to benefit The Blair County Respiratory Disease Society. Bring family, friends, neighbors and co-workers together for this unique fun filled weekend. Here you’ll find information on everything you need to know about Wallyball 2010!

Wallyball is basically like volleyball, but it is played on a racquetball court. Co-Ed teams consist of 4 players, 1 of which must be female. Team rosters will be limited to a maximum of 10 players. All equipment will be provided by The Summit.

Please note: Only white soled tennis shoes will be allowed on the court.

Beginners: Players with amateur experience, including recreational teams

Intermediate: Players with limited league participation who are looking for a moderate level of competition

Advanced: Players with prior league or tournament experience
Register soon as space is limited. Deadline is April 9, 2010. To register, please contact the Respiratory Disease Society at (814)944-8222.
• Each registered team is eligible for 2 practice hours prior to the day of the tournament, free!!!
• Teams must be at The Summit to check in at least 20 minutes before their first game starts. Team captains will be notified of first game times.
• Note – the tournament will be conducted using a double elimination or round robin format, depending on the number of entrants in each division.

Teams in this year’s tournament must have at least 4 players & at most 10 - at least 1 must be female. For the minimum team entry collection of $500, team members receive:
• T-shirts for each registered player
• Food, food, food and more food all weekend
• Winners will receive Championship sweatshirts and beverage gift certificates
Each team member must have a sponsor form and an entry form. The object is to collect as many donations as possible for the Respiratory Disease Society. Each team must turn in a $500 minimum donation to enter. Money can be collected from friends, relatives, business, etc.
• Awards for winning teams will be presented during a victory & appreciation party on April 25, 2010. Location will be announced and all teams are invited.
• Team members are invited to stuff themselves with food and drinks, but due to increasing participation, we ask NO CHILDREN.

• Door prizes will be given away

Add to your team total & receive a chance at the Top Team Award:
• 10 Certificates for a case of Bud Light
• Lunch & Dinner Certificates for area restaurants
2nd & 3rd Place fundraisers will also receive prizes

All additional fundraising monies are due Sunday, April 26 by 12:00 noon.

Champion Awards
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners in each division will receive prizes and awards for each team member.

Your entry fee donations all go to support the programs and services of The Respiratory Disease Society. This organization is the oldest health volunteer society in Blair County, dedicated to the prevention and aid to individuals and families affected by respiratory diseases. Our organization, known primarily for its Tuberculin testing, has expanded its services to face the needs of the area. These services now include:

• SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) Support & Education
• Emphysema, Bronchitis & Black Lung Support & Education
• Flu Inoculation Program
• Cribs for Kids
