IMPORTANT!!

Altoona Field House policy prohibits teams from practicing, stretching, or warming up in the hallways or in empty rooms.  Teams may practice, stretch and warm up in warm up area at the designated time only.

Music

Music may be on a cassette tape or CD.   Please be aware that most cassette tape players have slight variations in speed and pitch.  Music should be recorded at medium volume.   The music should stop at the end of the musical portion of your routine instead of being stopped manually on a certain beat.   It is your advantage to use a high quality tape.  PLEASE bring back up tapes or CDs.

A coach or team representative must report to the music table when your team is called on deck.  This representative must stay at the table throughout your team’s routine and is responsible for starting and stopping the music throughout your routine under the DJ’s supervision.  Teams should provide two tapes/CD’s (original and back up) at the music table.

Be sure to have identification on all tapes including squad  and owner’s name.
